Safety
Even though most martial arts programs are relatively safe for children and adults, The After School Karate Academy is still committed to providing a conducive and safe training environment for all students. Since karate is a contact sport, we endeavor to take all necessary steps to prevent or minimize bodily injury. Therefore, safety and safety awareness is the first priority for all of our programs. All students are (eventually) required to have the following sparring gear and safety equipment:
